Description
Reduces mineral deposits in boiler side of water-towater heat exchangers. Can be used as a preventative when filling the furnace or as a rescue treatment if
corrosion occurs in the water jacket due to improperly maintained Corrosion Inhibitor levels. Refer to following chart for the amount to use for each model furnace for preventative or rescue treatment applications. Note that 1 unit = 1 gallon.
PREVENTATIVE IN HARD WATER: While it is best to use softened water when filling the furnace, Sludge Conditioner should be used if the water quality is
known to contain higher concentrations of minerals or solids.
RESCUE TREATMENT FOR CORROSION: If a furnace has been subjected to low Corrosion Inhibitor levels and corrosion is evident in the water jacket, Sludge
Conditioner can be used by circulating through the furnace for one week to help clean some of the corrosion from inside the water jacket before flushing and refilling.
